What is Tandem Health?

We are setting out to revolutionize healthcare, an industry that is deeply broken in terms of what clinicians actually spend their time on. It is simply not sustainable that clinicians should spend >40% of their time on admin, and that 9 out of 10 doctors state they are unable to finish their administrative tasks during working hours. If nothing is done, we will not be able to keep current healthcare standards with our aging population and rising healthcare costs.

Our solution is a clinician copilot, to enable clinicians to focus on providing care instead of on administrative tasks. We believe in developing this copilot module by module, starting with solving the most time consuming admin task of writing medical notes. This is done via an ambient scribe - which transcribes the patient doctor interaction, and based on it generates a medical note. Since founding the company in August 2023, we’ve seen rapid growth and are live with over 50 care providers using the product every day. Tandem now generates 1000s of medical notes every day, saving clinicians valuable time while also improving their work environment and the quality of care.
